TBR 2007
Our first rally was held on September 13-17. We all enjoyed lots of good times greeting and making new friends. The food was second to none thanks to Sonnie Gray and Mike Crouch. They had secretly arranged a friend who has a BBQ business, he arrived with his smoker and some great tasting brisket. These guys really pulled one over one me, I had no idea this was going to happen. Unfortunately the rest of the meals were not that good! LOL We did provide an arrival BBQ hamburger and hotdog meal on the arrival day. That has become a tradition for each rally.
We spent a lot of time looking at everyone's coach, discussing what they had done and just showing it off! A total of 13 coaches came, and the location at Eisenhower State Park was just perfect. All of the coaches were parked in one location, a covered Pavilion for activities, and a very clean bathroom. Although the site has only 30 amp service and water, that's all we really needed. They do have a dump station at another camping site that some used on their way out.
